Is there any real benefits of adding www in front of domain name? I mean of terms of seo, or making the site look more authority, or any other benefits?

There is no benefit whatsoever to use one over the other. You do need to make sure you're not using both though.

I see that most of the authority sites are using www so i guess it can make your site look more authority. By the way, what is the right way to add www? To add new dns record on domain registrar side, or to modify the .htaccess file on my server, or both?

none, whatsoever. It's generally just to indicate the hostname of the server, for example this domain located on the "www" server. You'll sometimes see something like www2 or www3 instead. In this case they might have 2 or 3 different web servers which they use for load-balancing and they identify which one is serving the content by setting the hostnames to www2, www3 etc.

It has no impact at all on SEO.

Can someone clarify something to me: Adding www through the htaccess file is basically setting up a permanent 301 redirect. Is that corrects?

No difference at all, except I learned some older people recognize a website address by the www, and if the domain doesn't have a www they don't really have a clue what kind of address it is. That's why I prefer to use www for my websites.

Nope no difference. It used to matter to Google back in the wild west days of crazy animated .gif images and cheesy tiled web backgrounds, but now its just a matter of personal choice.

No difference, It's just looks like shorten URL

As others have said, it really comes down to personal preference. Whichever you choose, you should be 301 redirecting the other to it using .htaccess. You should also make sure you only internally link on your site to the method you have chosen. (e.g if using www then 301 redirect the non-www version)

I always tend to use www for my sites, as in my view it is more common that any external sites linking in will generally add the www and I want to make sure I get the complete, full force of the link rather than send it through a redirect - but I think this is a relatively minor point.

looking guy honestly I have a blog mma ufc fighting online and struggles already to a lot of time looking for SEO stuff and the only thing I found was that an independent domain actually receives more quality but with a while longer one spends more that domain authority already receives the sub-domains are not given authority over time this and the big difference if you have a domain with a facing name for what and theme of your website also contributes and to seekers until you find the description of the site contributes.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

No, just make sure you stay consistent with whichever one you choose (e.g., internal links) and set a preferred domain in the Goggle Search Console.

Nothing different mate. Use the same as you used so long.

I'm pretty sure that it dose not make any difference what so ever if you use the www or not.

You need to make sure, you don't use them both, I prefer www because I like it. :P
