Adding "verified" product reviews on my shopify site.

I just opened a new online store and would like to get some reviews on my products. I have an old website that has reviews but I would like the reviews to be "verified" so they show up on google.

A previous thread suggested buying my products with my own card. What I am wondering is in order to do this do I need use a review collection email or what exactly is it that makes it verified?

Also if I am going to start buying my own products would it be ok to make like a 99% off promo code and use that during this process?

Another question is should I use a VPN? Been searching for info on this so hopefully someone can help, thanks

Yes, I agree with you. But I think buying products with your own card is fine but you need to have different emails for reviews.
