Adding too many backlinks to a new site too quickly?

I recently launched a site in a niche that is not too competitive. At the moment I have no backlinks. I was looking at purchasing something like "Speed Rank" in the Marketplace which would deliver 150 backlinks very quickly. Many people seem satisfied with the service, but could this be a problem given my site is so new? I mean, going from 0 to 150 overnight would surely raise some flags right?

It needs to be a marvelous service to don't raise the red flags, but there are a lot of people who knows a lot of tricks for this. If you blast your new site with tons of backlinks in a short time it could be a little dangerous, but who knows, if someone knows a method to do it without problems, he or she will be well received.

If you want to play it safe, go with a service that drip feeds so like you say they dont look fishy. I'm sure others will say its no problem, its just better to start slow at the beginning and provide lots of content on your blog then blog about your blog off site somewhere like blogger, then get that shared out on all the social networks. The only thing i've used on new sites is the packages from Marrko so i can't recommend any others from experience.

Definitely don't throw 150 backlinks right away.

I recently did a test, comparing link velocity between two different NEW test sites going after the same keyword. One site got 2 backlinks per week, one site got 6. The 2 backlink site is now outperforming the 6 backlink site. I'll post detailed results soon.

What service did you use?

150 backlinks is ok,if its footprints are not yet visible.Use only quality urls for backlinks.Make sure its with a good mix of ******** & NoFollow links.
