Adding new keyword articles to MNS sites?

Will a MNS rank easily for another keyword adding one article with that new keyword (not the emd but seperate keyword)
Or should I go back to the few articles written about the EMD and throw in the new keyword a few times?
New keyword has low comp of 350k or so. with 1600 exact searches.

Yes, you can do that if the keyword is related to the website's niche or topic. Just do proper on page SEO for that article optimized for the targeted keyword and it will rank on it's own
