i have a video that has music that was "matched third party." well, i can get the music off and download the video to my computer. now what i want to do is add some different, non-copyright music to it and re-upload it. but i dont know how. is there a free way to do this?

i cant use movie maker since it wont let me upload the video to there. and also, other videos take literally thousands of videos to upload from there.

i want to monetize it for myself, so no audio swap

go to ByeByeCopyright channel on youtube, grab any music from there (all of them are royalty free, just give them credit in your description), swap the music and monetize it.

i already have the songs i want to use. my problem is that i now have a video with no music on it. i need to add music to that video and re-upload it

edit- i dont know how to swap it anyway. i see how to remove a song and i see how to add audio swap songs. i dont see how to do anything else inside of youtube itself.

there are a lot of german sites, that are giving free downloads of music without copyright, since GEMA lock all videos with copyrightmusic for germany.
We cant even hear gagnam sytle in germany.

Which proves the German government is there to protect the public interest. That song should be banned from humankind.

German government just want money for all stuff. we even have to pay for TV every month even if we don't look TV at all. It is like a bad joke.

it's ahrd to monetize ur music vids with 3rd party content..u can try by changing the pitch of the song with programs like audacity by little margin..or u should try finding some royalty free music..there r some new artists/dbstep mixers whose contents/remixes are copyright-free but youtube can ask u to give enough evidence b4 monetizing the video to make sure that the music is ur own creation.. i never tried royalty free music..but u can give it a try

Will youtube's audioswap feature do what you need? I'm not sure if it will work with songs outside of their restrictions though...just google youtube audioswap and they have a video and description of how it all works.

i already have a song that is royalty frre. i just need to add it to the video. and audio swap doesnt work because it wont allow me to monetize it

i cant believe how ridiculously impossible something that should be so easy is to do. i have literally spent 10 hours trying to figure this out. i have only gotten to where i can get it done with a big watermark on it, or 9000 suggestions to use windows movie maker which i have, but apparently my version wont let me import videos.

of course one guy in here pm's me pretending to be nice and volunteering to do it, then once he did, said i could have it if i paid him.

Just use Sony Vegas or something, theres tons of free Video Editors on the internet!

I recommend you to choose a catchy song, so you keep people watching the video until the end.

Good luck.

You're right, there were a lot people that have read just the first post.
You have the mp3 and want to add to video, just use any video editor software like camtasia.
