I have been adding niched links from forums in the form of sigs with my anchor text. All of the sites seem to have dropped in rank. This always worked in the past. Not sure if I didn't vary the anchor text enough or what or if google is penalizing certain links now.
I create a profile create the sig. Make a few post. Use pingerler to ping one of he posts.
And I'm talking maybe 2-3 ever 2-3 days so not a ton of links coming in at once.
It seems an link building I have done lately more than just 1-2 links have had a negative effect on my ranking on ANY of my sites. Links are certainly not what they used to be. It like the sites I don't touch at all do better than those I build links to.
