Adding another niche to the site?

I have a website about a tool for Facebook marketing with good rankings. I have now built another tool for Instagram marketing.

My question is, can I just create a new page on the Fb site and target Instagram related keywords there without any issues? Would that cause any ranking issues for the original keywords related to Facebook tool? Or it will be easier to rank Instagram tool keywords with the website which already ranks on Fb keywords?

That's not actually a new niche, but a different sub-niche. They are basically in the same niche.. I think you will be fine. A lot of tools have client areas for multiple social media areas so why wouldn't it work?

it is not actually a different niche, but as sunny stated, sub niche..
it will be okay.. ranking wise, u have to build around it tho..

Yes, but it doesn’t have a same client area for both tools, both tools are different so client area URLs would be different (but on same domain) for the both of tools as well.

My only concern is about losing ranking for already ranked keywords of the Facebook tool because of this. Could it be an issue in any way?

You won't lose rankings because of this. It might actually help a little bit, because you would gain some topic authority, expanding on the niche and moving away from the micro niche website.

They are definitely not different niches, they are just sub-categories of the same niche, so you can use them on one page without problems, or you can make some sub-page for Instagram, as you wish. I think that is actually a good idea to combine tools for these social media on the same site.

This is fine, if anything this will be good for your site SEO as it will relate the two together. From this, it will get a better understanding of what the main niche is, meaning you'll have a better chance of ranking for the higher volume main keywords. I'd add some internal links to each other naturally from both pages so the crawlers can easily flow from one to the other.
