How long do you usually wait before adding Adsense to a site ? As well as this, should you wait before you have a certain amount of content on your site just to be safe ?

At the moment I've a site that's 2 days old and only has the homepage text along with 1 article that's around 600 words long. I'm thinking about adding another 2 or 3 articles before adding Adsense to make sure everything is okay.

Random question too - is there any tools online to get the HTML code for a colour that's on a picture. My theme has bullet points in a red colour and I want to get this exact colour for my Adsense text

I usually ad adsense when i have 5 articles plus+ but my sites end up being 50+ page sites now, as google loves content! specially everyday :)

Hi, I think as long as you are planning to keep adding content you can add adsense from day 1. Again, I don't believe Google is stupid. They have said many times that they evaluate individual pages (and their connections) and not "websites".

For your second question I can tell you what I do and you can copy that. Click on your keyboard PrintScreen to take a screenshot of your screen (with your bullet point in front of you), then paste the screenshot into Photoshop (any version), then use the colour picker to pick the exact colour of your bullet. Click on the colour to open up the details and take the colour code. Now you have the code.

Probably other image softwares have colour picker option, but since I use Photoshop I never looked for others.

    Hope I helped
    Best of luck

An easy color picker is at
    HTML:
    www.nattyware.com/pixie.php
Pixie is a utility made especially for webmasters and designers. It is a color picker with few extra goodies.

Run it, simply point to a color and it will tell you the hex, RGB, HTML, CMYK and HSV values of that color. You can then use these values to reproduce the selected color in your favorite programs. Pixie will also show the current coordinates of your mouse pointer.

It is the only tool for you to work with colors.

If you want to play it safe

ask yourself if the content is useful for the reader...before adding adsense

myself after two weeks add adsense

if you are on page one for your keywords and getting traffic a human reviewer will at some point look at your site and if it is not useful to the reader you will be bumped down in the results anyway...

make it useful and you will stick
