Add the current year to your heading tag

Hi, I want to update the current year to heading tag, but when update the heading tag it will change the URL too, it seems not good on SEO.

So how to do 301 redirect? if this is not my personal or own site, it is the guest blog.

Yes, its not a good practice. Instead, add the year in the meta title so it doesn't affect your URL

Then only the guest post owner can do it.

Are you using Wordpress?

What I am understanding from your question is that when you are updating the title of the article (that is H1), the url is getting changed too. But this doesn't happen in Wordpress. So what exactly are you doing?

Also never let the url of the post change, it will unnecessarily require you to add 301 redirect. If you change it again next year then imagine how many url redirects will be there which is obviously not good for your site's SEO.

Sometimes (at least for me) it changes the URL, but you can easily edit it on the right side of WordPress where you find the url.

RankMath has a great snippet for adding a dynamic year in the post title.

Obviously you need to own the site and be able to modify theme files for this.
Also you should definitely make a child theme and add the code to that, so it won't disappear after every RankMath update.
