Adcenter Quality Score, have I understood it?

Hi,

I have been reading a lot about the adcenter quality score, but I am unsure whether I have fully understood it...

The quality score determines how visible my ads are, right?

The quality score has no effect on my CPC, right?

In Bing quality score is a result rather than cause of your performance. It is calculated based on keyword relevance to the search, to the ad and the landing page relevance along with the competitiveness. That is why it is calculated after your keyword went into the auction. It shows how competitive you are for that keyword meaning how are your ads, ad groups and landing pages faring against the competition. It gets little confusing.
