But think about it this way. The people that use ad blocker really hate ads. I find it much better to just do the popup or replacement that just begs people to donate or turn off their adblocker. I find that I am able to recover a lot more revenue this way. Plus if one guy throws you 1$ in btc that is worth a shit ton more then a few hundred views.

Also asking to turn off adblocker has been done by many big sites, one of them is Forbes.com. Just go there with Adblocker on to test it.

I am not suggesting the forbs method. I simply mean replace your ads with a request for turning it off or donating. I have not had as much success with the pops ups as with just changing out the ad with a guilt trip.
