There are ways to bypass adblocker.

I believe in freedom of web. If people want to block, let them block. Not saying it's 'right' per se, but I use VPN, DNS and anything I can on my devices to stop the lot.

I don't think banning adblocker is a good solution.
It's not friendly to the consumer, who doesn't want to be bombarded by tons of irrelevant ads.
Even as someone who is running ads, you should always keep developing. Tailor your ads to your audience and you'll still make money. It doesn't help to advertise your products to people that don't care about them anyways wether they have adblocker or not.
