Adapting an affiliate blog to dropshipping

Has anyone done this?

I've got a fairly successful affiliate blog, and I'd love to make more profit than Amazon's poor commission.

I'm not sure I'll be able to 100% move away from Amazon, as not all products will be stocked on where ever I choose to dropship.

Just curious to see the success, and if the conversion rates drop hugely

I think you're in an awesome position.

If your affiliate blog is already getting traffic and you said that you had achieved a fairly moderate level of success, you are well-positioned to transition to drop shipping.

The great thing about drop shipping is that you can pretty much control the sales process up to the point of the product.

What I mean by this is you can position the product in a way that fits what you know about your traffic.

You don't get this with typical affiliate programs like Amazon.

You are basically left with a take it or leave it type of situation.

Dropshipping gives you extra control over the sales process because you craft the sales pitch.

With Amazon products, you can come up with the review to condition your potential buyers, but at the end of the day, you are at the mercy of Amazon and how it pushes the product.

You don't have this problem with dropshipping because the seller takes care of the last stage, which is fulfillment and shipping.

Everything else is up to you, and this gives you tremendous power over the customer's sales journey.
