ADA or ETH?

ETH for sure, BTC and ETH are like the gold of crypto as a safe investment. Although some may think these riskier currently I'm invested in SHIB, BONE and LEASH as I believe they will all have increased utility and a great development team with solid future plans. The upside for gains with these in my opinion are higher too with their currently values. ETH would have to reach 8Kish currently to 2x your investments, while lower value coins/tokens that haven't got as many holders yet could potentially give you 100x or 1000x returns. All down to how much risk you are willing to take really.

SHIB has been taking a beating like a dog that pissed on the carpet. We will see if they recover

To be honest, there's been a lot of hand-wringing recently regarding Cardano going on a downtrend.

If you bought Cardano when it was 10 cents, you're sitting on a large pile of money.

It's not a surprise why the price of Cardano crashed quite a bit.

People who got in early cashed out.

There's no shame in that game.

There's nothing wrong with that.

That's the way asset valuation and appreciation patterns go.

When you look at Bitcoin in the past, it would spike up, crash and then spike up again.

This is not just the market operating; this is also feeding on speculator and investor mentality.

Pay close attention to this psychology.

When you get in early, you want to lock in your profits.

So if the price is pumped up, you sell.

And if enough of you sell, the price crashes.

This then draws in other people because the appreciation has "validated" the asset.

So they wait for the asset to go up again for the next pump.

And then they exit only to be replaced by other people, and this goes on and on.

Look at Bitcoin and ETH, the same pattern.

So when it comes to pricing, Cardano is still very compelling.

But when it comes to technology, I'm going to give ETH a lot of rope because it's been around longer and has a lot more decentralized apps in its ecosystem.

You got Axie Infinity being one of the biggest use cases of ETH.

Do you know how many people from Vietnam and the Philippines have become millionaires playing Axie Infinity?

Imagine that, getting paid to play a game.

But ADA, to its credit, recently rolled out its smart contract system.

Like with any ecosystem, give it time to mature, which means more decentralized apps, more cross-platform applications.

Don't just focus on valuation.

Focus also on what makes this system different from ETH.

Remember, it's supposed to be an answer to ETH's shortcomings.

You probably don't need me to remind you of those.

Just look at the processing times and gas fees.
