I give it around 3-5 days before making a decision. If it's spending money but getting no clicks or results at all, I'll stop it earlier.
i would not kill an ad just bcz the first days performance was poor. i would allocate sufficient budget to get good data nd comppare CTR, CPC nd conversions. if it is still underperforming i would pause the ad nd test a new approach.

For experimental campaigns, it will depend on the metrics obtained from those ads to see if they are effective, and whether to expand or stop the budget based on the assessment at each point in time.

I usually test an advertising campaign for about 3 days to see if it's actually effective.

I prefer testing for a reasonable period and comparing the actual performance data before cutting campaigns that aren't delivering.

I usually give it 3–7 days, depending on spend and traffic. I’ll turn it off sooner if the numbers are clearly bad, but I like enough data to avoid killing a potentially good ad too early.
