Is it ok with ebay to create ad-hoc auctions for a single buyer?
I mean, here's the scenario:
I find something into a random classified site (craigslist, gumtree, etc) but i'd like the seller to ship me the item. I can't trust the seller, who the hell is him? Will he ship? Who covers my ass? Who knows i'm dealing so i can make a chargeback?
So my idea is to jump into ebay. Doing this i'm way more protected from frauds and scams (thanks to the ebay buyer protection program), am i not?
Like telling him "hey i need my ass covered, put up an auction on ebay with the same BIN price you're selling your item on craigslist , and i'll hit it asap. I'll pay all the fees".
Will it work? Will it not break the ebay TOS?
