Hey guys, I have been testing out different combination of sitelinks and callouts on my campaigns, but i am honestly struggling to figure out which ones actually improve CTR versus the ones that just take up space. Do you guys bother setting up every single extension type, or do you stich to just a couple of specific ones that actually move the needle?

Sitelinks are more useful when they take people to pages they actually want to visit, like pricing, reviews, or product details.

More extensions do not always mean better results. Test a few relevant ones first and add others if needed.

Sitelinks should give people a clear next step. If two links lead to almost the same content, one may not add much value.

Don't waste time filling out every single asset type. Sitelinks with two full description lines and structured snippets carry the most weight for ad rank and visual space, while everything else just clutters your ad fill out the core 3-4 properly and replace anything marked 'low' in your asset performance report.

You dont need to use every extension just for the sake of it. Start with sitelinks, callouts and structured snippets, then keep the ones that actually help.

asset level ctr can be misleading since google decides which assets show in each auction. i’d look at the numbers for direction, but test the impact at ad group level with bidding and budget kept stable. also, make sure your callouts and sitelinks add something new rather than repeating what’s already in the headlines.

The only one i use are sitelinks. Because they direct the consumers to something they could really want. Well, phone extension is good if you offer have a probability to call you to enhance the chance to buy, but only in this case really.

sitelinks work pretty well for me, specially when u link to pages people actually wanna visit. just test a few combos and see which gets better ctr.

I usually think relevant extensions are better than adding every option. It depends on what you are advertising and what your audience needs.

I would test diffrent sitelink texts while keeping the rest of the ad consistent, so it is easier to identify what make a diffrence.

the best ones depend on your niche tbh. sitelinks can help people find specific pages faster, while callouts are good for showing offers or benefits. just test what works for your audience.

Do not add every extention just to fill space use the ones that give searches a good reason to click.

If your ad already explains the main offer, use callouts for details that do not fit naturally in the ad copy.
