Hi guys,

I have found a keyword that has hardly any any competition. So I put up a campaign, my ad was approved, according to the editor it has a QS of 6. I set the bid price to 1 cent.

I checked several times in the Google search and there was only 1 competing ad showing up (BUT not mine).

So in my opinion there is so much ad space left and therefore no reason why Google shouldn't show one more ad even if it is only for 1 cent if it has already deemed the ad a QS 6.

What am I missing?

Thanks.

There are a few reason that your ads can not run:
- Low bid
- Low budget
- The account use Visa/Master has been denied before -> review...
- Accident pause campaign (lol)
...

The icon beside "elegible" , put your mouse on it, what does it say.

Have you set up the account with a voucher? I did that and the ads wouldn't show until I'd entered billing information.

Hi guys,

the keyword status was elegible. I say it was because after a while I changed the destination URL to try whether direct linking is still possible turns out it is not at least it did not work with my campaign.

I had set my bid setting to 1 cent per click, which is obviously to low even when there is no competition. I also set my daily budget to only 5 bucks per day.

Does Adword give you better click prices when you choose higher daily limits?

And no I did no setup the ac count with a vocher.

So I assume even contrary to the ebooks still along it seems almost impossible to get 1 cent clicks even in the display network where I have a campaign with 20k and don't get impressions for 1 cent.

Thanks guys.
