I've been getting around adblocker (not figured out how to do it for google adsense yet) but for other affiliate/ppc ads and banners by essentially making my own. Just taking a still image of the ad and inserting the referral link usually into a sidebar widget.

I've been lurking for ages and wanted to post this so many times. I finally have the chance. Yes!

The reason that I wanted to share it is because so many people ask me how I manage to keep my ads up even when they're using adblocker. So I guess it's not that common knowledge. Although, I know you Black Hat guys are smarties. So forgive me if I'm being captain obvious :D Also, sorry if this is the wrong section, I did a search first and saw a couple adblock threads in here.

I think you're putting a lot of efforts in something that will not get you much in return.

People running adblock or similar plugins/addons are less likely to be clicker/buyers of your ads. That is why they installed the plugin in the first place, because they hate ads.

That was just my 2 cents thought.

Ya make a good point. I use adblocker myself but it at the very least gives you another stab at them :D

People who use adblocker properly hate ads. But this is most of times because there are too many ads on some sites. Now that basically means that if your site just have some "good" ads and related to the content they also will not been shown. By default a user will not change the adblocker configuration. Specially on the mobile because they can't control this by website. Is just on or off.

Fact is that sometimes 50% is blocked, so is a lost opportunity to sell anything even with only 1 ad on your site.

We build adserver to bypass the adblocker on a xxx website. Is not the perfect solution but it works. We replace it with something else like give us a like on Facebook and other links. Just give us already 35% more views on ads.
