Hello guys,

I have several aged professional accounts running ads through Instagram and I've recently traveled to Russia for 2 weeks. While I was there, I was using VPN to access and now all pages/ads display a message "Ad accounts based in Russia or with Russian rubles can't run ads on Instagram".

None of my targeting nor the accounts themselves have a connection to Russia so I assume that it had to do with my physical location. I've now returned to Europe and thought this would fix it but still the same.

Has anyone here encountered this or knows a fix? Would really appreciate your input.

Contact Facebook support. The war has affected many things, it's really terrible.

It's because most of the platforms have banned their services in Russia due to war. Looks like IG detected the Russian IP address in your device and they flagged it. You can try logging in from another device having connected to your local network, this might solve your problem. If the issue still persists, you can contact IG support and provide all relevant information about your situation.
