Ad Accounts and Business Managers

In 2025, most restrictions come from inconsistent spending patterns, mismatched billing info, or suspicious page activity. To keep accounts alive longer, warm them up slowly, keep consistent spend, use verified payment methods, and avoid linking too many assets too quickly.

Try to keep activity natural, avoid sudden spend spikes,...

The reason for being disabled so quickly is because at that time Facebook was scanning BM and accounts, sometimes there will be such scans, depending on the level of strength or lightness, there are times when Facebook scans almost all BMs, even accounts running clean products.

Managing BMs and ad accounts today is more about trust signals and warm behavior than just setup. Fresh BMs/ad accounts get flagged fast if you start heavy or weird, so warm everything first (page activity, small brand campaigns). If your spend grows consistently, sometimes Meta assigns a rep who can help with bans/issues but that’s usually reserved for high‑spend accounts and isn’t guaranteed. Renting or buying BMs with reps is risky because it violates rules and gets flagged quickly; doing it legit with steady behaviour is much more stable.

Restrictions usually stem from irregular activity patterns, billing problems, or policy-related signals. Going forward, maintaining verified profiles, consistent spending behavior, compliant creatives, and transparent, trustworthy domains is essential for keeping Business Managers stable over the long term.

In 2025 the fastest triggers are new or thin BMs, payment issues, policy-edge creatives ), and sudden spend spikes. Accounts last longer when you warm BMs slowly, use clean payment history, keep creatives conservative at first, verify business/assets early, and scale spend gradually.

I’m curious what common triggers are in 2025 and how people keep accounts alive longer.
Restrictions have definitely increased recently. In many cases it’s not just the ads themselves but sudden changes in account behavior that trigger reviews.

Because many people are exploiting Facebook's vulnerabilities, Facebook has to scan the entire site. You should try to get through this time.

I've noticed Meta's recent strict enforcement, with many accounts being restricted simply because of payment history or logins from unfamiliar IPs. In my experience, new Business Managers who create multiple ad accounts or add multiple cards simultaneously are very likely to get flagged. You should maintain a stable login IP, enable two-factor authentication, and avoid changing your Business Manager information too frequently.

From what I’ve seen recently, Meta Business Manager tends to trigger restrictions when too many actions happen at once, like adding payment methods, creating multiple ad accounts, and linking pages quickly.

I understand how frustrating that can be. Keeping up with Facebook’s policy updates and focusing on building a consistent, trustworthy account history can usually make things smoother over time.

In 2025, Meta will rapidly restrict accounts often due to low trust, unusual behavior, or violating content/landing pages, so full verification and "real person" behavior are essential for long-term account retention.

I totally agree. You should ALWAYS warm up your accounts like a normal person would do; a couple of friends first, joining some groups and building trust slowly but steadily before you even run an ad.

are you using payment method (credit card) which is used in old account?

Due to a policy update, Facebook is now scanning accounts with unusual activity.

Based on my experience, your account needs to possess a certain level of credibility and be active on a regular basis.

the meta is shifting towards aged agency accounts or bms with high spending history.
