I've been running ads in a BH niche on tiktok for more than 7 months. Never used cloaking and any similar shit and it worked without a problem. Now, my account is banned. It happened yesterday. WHY?? I was running my ads without any issues before. The account was well established and all. What to do now? Is buying an account the only option? Any precautions I can take?

You send a ticket for support to see how it is resolved! If your payment history is good, create a new account and continue advertising.

First of all, I'd be very curious to know what niche it was to be able to run ads for more than 7 months without any suspensions?! I mean WTH!

Is it really BH? or GH? I mean, even for GH niches, most people have a hard time running them without cloaking, so if you were able to run a BH ad for more than 7 months without getting banned, I really want to meet you and share a beer with you. (that is not supposed to be a date; don't worry)

Anyways you'll be able to notice that cloaking is NOT "shit". It's almost impossible to run ads smoothly without using cloaking.

And yeah, using another account is the only option. You'll have to use proxies and an anti detect browser tho

TikTok suspends ad accounts for several common reasons, and the platform usually sends a brief notification (often by email or in the Ads Manager) that doesn’t spell out the exact rule you broke. Based on the latest guidance (2025) the most frequent triggers are:

  1. Ads‑policy violations – promoting prohibited products or services (e.g., gambling, adult content, counterfeit goods), using misleading claims, or violating creative standards such as excessive text, sensational language, or disallowed imagery.
  2. Landing‑page non‑compliance – the URL you point to breaks TikTok’s rules (malware, deceptive offers, mismatched content, or poor user‑experience signals).
  3. Repeated user reports – if viewers flag your ads as spam, unsafe, or inappropriate, TikTok may investigate and suspend the account.
  4. Payment or billing irregularities – declined payments, mismatched billing information, or use of high‑risk payment methods can trigger an automatic hold.
  5. Sudden account changes – creating a brand‑new account, swapping domains, or using VPNs/ proxies right after launching ads can look suspicious to TikTok’s fraud‑detection systems.

Because you mentioned the account was “well established” and the ban happened suddenly, it’s likely one of the first three reasons—most often a policy breach that TikTok flags after a review of a recent campaign or landing page.

Platforms can update their review systems at any time, so an account may get locked even if it was fine before. You should appeal through support, verify your information, and make sure all content complies with policies. Buying accounts isn’t necessary — maintaining transparency, a clean history, and monitoring warnings will help reduce future risks.

Hey, I feel your pain—this happens more often than people think, even to experienced accounts. TikTok’s ad moderation can be unpredictable sometimes, and accounts can get suspended for reasons that aren’t always clear, even if you haven’t used cloaking or other “risky” tactics.

Here’s what I’d suggest from a safe perspective:

  1. Appeal the suspension immediately through TikTok Ads Support. Sometimes it’s a false positive, and providing details about your campaigns can help.
  2. Check your creatives and landing pages—even small things like copy that triggers their automated review system could be flagged.
  3. Keep documentation of your ad spend, approval history, and any communication with TikTok—it helps if you need to escalate.
  4. Avoid buying accounts unless you know exactly what you’re getting; new owners often face restrictions or instant suspensions. It’s safer to recover your current account if possible.
  5. Consider a backup account as a future precaution—but make sure you follow all platform rules strictly.

Honestly, there’s no magic fix here. TikTok’s system is just more strict than before, and even legit accounts can get caught up. Patience and careful appeals are usually the safest route.

Tiktok can ban accounts suddenly, even without rule breaking, especially in sensitive niches. first, appeal the ban it sometimes works.

Bans can feel random, but keeping detailed records of your campaigns and gradually scaling ad activity usually helps avoid sudden surprises.

Even if you follow the rules, sensitive niches carry risk. Pausing, reviewing your content, and reaching out to support is often the safest first step.

Now you should start from scratch. Buying a new account isn't safe as some SMM panels can scam you.

Buying a verified aged account from a trusted source is your best bet — and next time, rotate creatives and warm up the account slowly to reduce risk.

TikTok updates their ad policies frequently even if your setup was fine before, a small change in ad review rules or landing page content can trigger a ban. Try appealing first before buying a new account.
