I want onto my facebook and asked me to upload a picture of myself and wait 48 hours. After 48 hours my account was gone. I have about 31 dollar credit on it. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas how I can get that credit back? I used a free domain picture maybe that was the problem?

They're very strict about verification. If they reviewed your picture and denied it, then it's final unfortunately and you will have to start a new account.

Yes facebook has strickly verification all things.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can recover my 31 dollars I put in the account. Do you think I should call visa and reverse it?

You still can try to write in the support of facebook an try to get it back. But it will be a very difficult way, you will have to provide information on all operations on the bank card, etc. I don't think $31 is worth it.
