Actual Pay Per click on website

i remember there was an insurance company figure home equity, they started a couple years back and they needed traffic to their website, so they paid affiliates 0.50 cents per click! Some affiliates were reported as making $75,000 a month.

they closed the program(costing too much)

does anyone know any other literal pay per click on webpage affiliate programs?
