Active Subreddits for New Accounts?

Hi all,
New Reddit accounts are often banned quickly, and comments on larger subreddits tend to get removed. I'm looking for smaller, active subreddits where new accounts can build karma without the risk of being banned. Any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know roughly how long it takes before a new account can start commenting on larger subreddits without getting banned or having comments removed?

I think the best way to do this is to act slowly, otherwise you'll get banned immediately.

Try smaller subreddits like r/CasualConversation, r/AskRedditNoobs, or r/NewToReddit. They’re more friendly to new accounts. Usually, after a week or two of active, good comments, you can safely post on bigger subs.

Find some small pets like subs, they are very loyal to newbies. Less toxic people.

Small subs like local city or fandom threads are dope for new accounts to grind karma, takes a week to go big

Thank you. Do you think there's a certain amount of time after which it's okay to start posting from a new account? For example, should I just comment for a week or two first, and then start making posts?

You get shadow banned so easily on Reddit it's quite ridiculous. Just have to gradually build the account up and hope on the way you don't get shadow banned.

I’ve noticed it, but I know it’s possible to do because while browsing Reddit, you can see comments written by bots, so I believe there’s a way to do it. I suspect no one will sell me a guaranteed method, because if someone has one, they’ll keep it to themselves, but I want to gather as much information as possible and test everything.
