Hi everyone,

So I have just had an email from Google Adsense with a message saying:

Our policy review indicates that while the site(s)/app(s) below have a consent notice in place, its wording fails to meet the requirements of our policy:

site 1
site 2

I have the GDPR options ticked inside my Adsense account and the pop-up shows with consent and do not consent options.

Do I need to have another banner or something showing?

Has anyone else had this happen?

Thanks!

Check to see if the gdpr consent banner is loading, use a vpn with EU location.

Final update just in case anyone else finds them themselves in the same situation.

I got a response from Google and they submitted my sites to the policy team to check the domains. The policy team found ZERO issues with my sites so it was a big fuss about nothing!

Moral to this story: Get in touch with Google first. Often it turns out to be nothing but an automated check.

can you tell me please what plugin are you using for consent?

I have just received this exact same e-mail, twice in a row with a week in between. I already had a cookie banner that was sufficient but to be sure I implemented the cookie banner as provided within the Adsense dashboard. I did it right after the first e-mail. However, today I received this e-mail again and I'm started to get worried a bit. I filed a report as well but it's been a week and no feedback so far. So now I've sent them an email which was provided in the e-mail. I'm hoping they will reply to me sometime soon.

I know this is a bit of an older thread by now but I'm still wondering if someone has dealt with this issue as well?

Update: Exact same situation as the user who started this thread here. They got back to me and told me the situation has now been resolved.

So when this situation occurs, definitely email them!
