So I installed IGbees trial, what a terrible software, can't believe people pay $15 a month for such a poorly written software. Couldn't link accounts manually from android as it just wasn’t working following directions and FAQ, so used their proxy client and logged in using my own IP via the web client. For some reason Instagram still detected as login attempt and emailed me to verify.

Once accounts were linked i went to App (social bridge) and it kept saying Instagram app must be in English, which it was, it was in regular English settings, you stupid sh!t, so app didn't work. I didn't use the bot for anything, just quickly deleted it and uninstalled, web client wasn't used either.

I noticed an unusual Samsung [model number] logged into my account activity soon after, so I changed my password and ended all login sessions.

Then back to insta i click follow a couple of times I got action block for following, I commented a few times, got action block for commenting, so now i can only click likes.

Is this coincidence? or was I truly detected and punished for solely installing a bot LOL.

Been using Instagram for 3-4 days follow about 150-200 people around 50 comments and 200 likes. 10 unfollows in that period. Honestly I don't consider it much or spam at all.

From what I hear, those apps are terrible and leave footprints all over your accounts.

As for the suspicious login, it could be possible that its the user agent that the app uses to login into the account. But it would not surprise me if the are logging and stealing credentials.

Let your account rest for some time and rebuild the trust. As of now it has probably been ruined by that app
