Hello ! Have a 1 year old account
- 100 follows per day (10-15 per hour )
- 50 comments ( 5 per hour
- 350 likes

Went on a 100 unfollow day and was action blocked for 1 week

The first day back, i Liked and commented on 2 photos to see if I was in blocked and BOOM

another week block

1. Is there a work around for this block
2. Two years ago there was a tech on Twitter that was able to remove this ( does he still exist)

And has anyone else been dealing with this ?

2- No. No "twitter tech" removes Instagram blocks. Wtf are you even talking about?

When you're blocked and the block is lift, if y ou start doing a lot of actions right away you can be blocked even sooner than before. Also, 100 follows per day is a lot. Before it might have been OK, but right now it is too much and will eventually lead to blocks. Get blocked too many times and you might end up banned. At this point, i wouldn't go above 20 follows per day with any important account.
 
I've mentioned this in some of my previous posts and repeating it again, don't unfollow at the same speed you do follows. Instagram hates unfollows. Go slow with unfollows, I never unfollow more than 40-50 accounts in a day, spread out through the day.

I was doing 5-10 hour? How many would you recommend? I notice the unfollows are a killer

Do you still follow and then whe unfollow you get blocks?
IMHO your ratio is unnatural.Keep them natural as much as possible.
What proxies are you using?
Do you do chat/DM using the account?
Do the account has close friends?
 
It doesn't matter if you follow 5-10 per hour or 100 in just 10 minutes it is the same. (action=100 follow and 100 unfollow) and Once you have limited action cool down do nothing. Else it will ask for PVA next time and the time limit will increase too.

I do random unfollows while doing likes. So there is no pattern. There is no fixed number for me in an hour. If you establish a pattern of unfollows then IG would catch up and give you an action block. I've noticed this pattern thing is not so rigid in case of follows.
 
The 100 users unfollowed got the spam action triggered and now anything even mildly crazy could get you action blocked.

An easy way out is to let the account settle down, be more human, think what an average user would do and then do half of that. Staying under the radar for the next few weeks is important or the account might even get suspended.
