action block longer than a month

I've been unable to like, comment or post with captions/links for just over a month now. It appears the last time I was able to like a pic was August 3rd.
It gives me the "we restrict certain activity to protect our community" with the "tell us" button and i've even used the report a problem feature about 5 times now.
I've also tried signing in from my desktop, reinstalling the app to my phone, clearing browser history on both devices all to no avail.

I did have someone running story viewing for me and mother child prior to that but that was towards the beginning of the year. perhaps they caught on to the automation? I also haven't posted to my feed since May but post to my story daily if that makes a difference.

Any tips would be helpful, thanks to all.

You should've had 3 or more blocks with shorter timespan. Yeah, it's definitely botted actions.
 
Its 60-90 days so you will need to wait for a while and not the repeat same thing again next time.
 
Open instagram > settings > help > report a problem and explain your issue in detail
 
Try disable account from desktop in 2 days and reopen it. I have tried it many times and it works.
 
Here's what you can do:

1.Report to Instagram.
2.Try to delete instagram and login again,this helps in short term.
3.Run paid ads because Instagram cares about people who invest money in them:D(Actually everyone does)
 
How many follow/unfollow were you doing?

NOW this I actually haven't tried just yet, the last ad I ran was back in March so perhaps I'll give that a shot. hopefully the action block won't stop them from approving the ad?

I haven't had someone do follow/unfollow since last year. the only automation we've had done as of recently is mother/child and story viewing

mother/child is said to be safe with some randomness in the child accounts.
It must be story vieweing as you need to add your IG credentials into a bot for story viewing.

i agree. once this block is lifted mother/child will be the only form of automation i ever try again. i just hope it doesn't last the full 90 days

i wish there was a way for me to find out how long i'll be blocked haha
 
Change ur password, link ur instagram account to facebook (or some other social media. but preferably facebook), and log out of ur account and do not log back in or do anything for atleast 48 hours

i'm already linked to FB. maybe unlink and relink or maybe link to twitter?? thanks also
 
There was a guy here in the instagram section who posted that he spent $5 on the ads and then wrote an angry support message that I am running ads but I am unable to do anything.

The shadow ban was lifted in no time. You can dig this section to find the exact thread and do the same or reach out to the fellow BHW memebrr
 
Tbh, it may never be normal again.

I have an account that is action blocked for years now, can't even follow one account lol.
 
I encounter the longest is like 2 or 3 weeks, I do ask here, it seem like some bro kinda shock I GOT this temp ban.

usually just few days.

This works for me 99% of the times :)
 
update: I'm still blocked smfh

Here's what I've tried thus far: multiple password changes, sign in from different device, unlinking then relinking FB & twitter, running paid ads and then I've been refraining from trying to like/comment on anything for a full 30 days. I'm still able to tapback on DM's and send DM's but everything else is no go

perhaps it's game over for this account? obviously i've used the "tell us" feature and tried the "report a problem" option also to no avail. at this point idk what else to try

EDIT: just temporarily disabled the account to see what that does
