I'm using a bot for Instagram and I'm in this situation where I'm living in 2 homes, switching between them once a week. So far I had no problems until recently, which I'm getting action blocks every day for following.

I'm using in both 2 houses the home IP and I can't change this situation for the next upcoming year. What can I do to prevent that?

Your described switching between 2 homes and 2 different residential providers causes no action blocks. Many couples have different apartments when they are not living together for example. It's a normal behavior that your residential ip / provider may switch day by day (or on different hours per day because people are always on the move). Your bot setup is the key. Which bot are u using? Did you created your accs yourself or did you bought crappy hacked accs which were already flagged before you logged in for the first time?

I'm using Jarvee for 2 months already, created my accounts myself and they are aged (2 years) and this happened to me just a week ago. I started switching apartments 1 month ago. My settings are pretty much the same for this amount of time and have been a bit aggressive for this whole time.

There you got your answer. IG is sometimes not punishing directly with action blocks. Its a win win strategy of them. First they are logging a lot of measurements and data to feed their ai which is a simple machine learning algo to detect bot patterns. Second they will punish you suddenly with action blocks but for an abuse which you did some weeks before/still doing so it's really hard to find out for you, why exactly you got an action block. Also psychologically much more annoying for you because you growed an accs and then you lost suddenly the ability to grow more.

I got action block for following, but I can still like and unfollow without any problems. However, how can I solve this issue to keep following normally again without being blocked everyday?

First of all, test if your IP Range is blocked or your acc. Grab your phone, turn on hotspot and check via mobile IP if you're still follow blocked. If yes, you need to rest your Acc at least 7 days (I prefer 10+ days) because you pushed it to hard. IG is summarizing all your actions you did due a specific period. If you're heavy over the average like a normal power user you need to rest your acc several days and start very very very slow again.

I made a test with my phone's hotspot as you advised and I wasn't action blocked. So that's the IP. What should I do?

Then IG doesn't like the interaction between your accs + residential provider from your 2 homes. Use a residential/mobile proxy for a while with low action settings. After 7-10 days check if it's working again with your home IP. If not, then you need to rest your acc 7-10 days completely or use resi/mobile proxy for further actions.

After some tests I found out that my home IP 1 is fine and I can follow how many I want without any restrictions. However, when on home IP 2 I'm getting action blocked almost immediately. Does it means IP 2 is marked and can no longer be used? This is actually my main home right now, this is the IP I care most. What can I do to revive it?

Are you living alone or do you have flat mates who are also using your internet access? Normally IG flags residential ips only for some hours to limit your actions but when you pushed followings to a maximum over days or weeks, then IG will penalizing also residential ips. Not a range, just a IP which summarized too much actions in a time window. Like when you get for weeks the same residential IP then IG will only flag this IP. When you reconnect your internet do you get always a new dynamic IP or do you have a static one?

In home IP 2 I'm living with flat mates, yes. They have Instagram but not they're not very active. My IP is provided by my ISP and changes once few months, so basically it's the same IP for 4-6 months, then it changes, no matter if I disconnect and reconnect. Should let this IP rest for few days and it'll go back to normal? Or what else?

Ok, that explains a lot and now we know the cause. Your provider treats your connection with a static IP. Due to your aggressive follow settings, IG flagged your residential IP as follow spam. All your follow actions got summarized day by day and on day x you reached too much follows in your period so your IP got completely flagged. Such a spam flag could last weeks or months. The only thing you can do: check every 7-10 days if you're able to follow again (but with very very very low settings, like max 2 follows an hour).

You said, it's the worst case for you, because it's your main flat. My solution for you: if have 50$ over, just buy an rasperry pi or use an old notebook which you can run 24h in your other home as proxy server. With this solution you have no trouble and you're able to use your accs like normal (not aggressive ;-))

With a flagged ip as follow spam you could only wait and drink tea or use the proxy server method.

Understood. Your solution is great, for now I want to be able to use the bot in my main flat, so I'll rest the account for 7-10 days and see what happen.

I'm updating after 1 month without using Instagram at all:

I started to bot again, didn't touch Instagram for the last month. I started with 15 followers an hour and after few hours I got hit by an action block. I just realized I should have done it much more slowly, so now I'm doing 2 follows an hour. Do you think that because I didn't do it slowly enough I will be action blocked almost every time again? Plus, it's been 1 month, it appears I'm still marked by Instagram?
