Acer usually last longer than most other laptop brands. I mean, the battery.

I have recently bought Acer Aspire E1-571 and I am really satisfied with it. On power saver mode, it battery lasts more than 6 hours.

i have acer lappy from 6 years and the battery is still working nicely!! Go for acer

I've got an Acer laptop, it's a pretty cheap brand here in the UK.

It works fine, apart from one thing... There is no caps lock light!!! So when you enter a password, you have to open Notepad just to see if you have caps lock on or not. For that very reason I would avoid an Acer, unless it has a light.

I have an Acer netbook, laptop and tablet that are still kickin it after several years, so I'd vote for Acer.
