Do you have any good recommendations on a good backlink checker? Google Webmaster tools shows like 386 links for my site while the free ones that i have tried show somewhere between 4 and 33? Are there any accurate backlink checkers out there? Thanks in advance

Hi, i believe the best choice is to check several and see which shows better results, Ahrefs, majestic are good and moz show less. the GWMT shows those that they think are important but they hide information.

I use seo spyglass which is slow but it finds more that the others i mentioned, it uses webmeup.com backlink checker and i add the webmaster data to seo spyglass to analyze all at once, the free version can do a lot. (notice i don't pay Ahrefs or majestic subscription but the free results)

Hope that helps.

Use multiple checkers like ahrefs, majestic, opensiteexplorer and linkprofiler for best results.

I use an ahrefs reseller (semcompass). IMO ahrefs index is the best one out there. The other big ones are majestic and opensiteexplorer. I noticed that ahrefs catches more links while majestic catches more domains (ahrefs goes deeper while majestic goes wider).

I don't use opensiteexplorer, but if you wanna try I read a thread by t0mmy today where he points out a way to get a 120 day free trial, and then renew again. Good stuff:

Ahrefs > Majestic > Moz > all others in terms of indexed links.

Try Majesticseo & ahref both are paid one. if you looking for free one try backlinkwatch.com, this one show up to 2000 backlinks so i think this one enough to see most backlinks of you website

I always use Majestic and get great results from that. Using Majestic and other backlink tools will give you better results as well.

I'm using Majestic it is good for backlink checker.

I use Ahrefs and Openlinkprofiler, check with both of the checkers and then merge the list.

I think people have done tests that show that ahrefs has the best coverage.
