i never send outbound DMs.... i just reply to DMs and eventually ill get shadowbanned... i dont break reddit rules or anything. has anyone experienced this?

You’re not alone. I never send cold messages either and still got shadowbanned once. Seems like Reddit’s DM filter can be a bit too sensitive sometimes.

Shadowbans started for me when DMs became my main activity instead of comments.

You are taking too many actions at a time. Take it slow and more organic.

Yes, that could very well be possible. More reddit users have reported the same thing, including I.

Yeah, that can happen ıts usually not about DMs, overall account signals. Too many similar replies, posting patterns or reports can trigger it even if youre not breaking rules.

Are you automating replies or manually doing this? How fast do you reply? Be natural, most users are slow to reply, and maybe reply 1-5 dm's per day. If you are replying to 100+ in short period of time with copy pasta, it will easily get flagged.

Its just reddit being sensitive really. but think about it, a real user wouldnt reply to tons of dms all at one time. Space out your activity and make your actions more human.
