Account suddenly stopped spending!

This usually happens when Facebook limits spend for review or risk checks. Even if your card and page look fine, the account may be under a soft limit. Try lowering budgets, let it run slowly, and it often recovers after some days.

Keep your budget low, don't keep it too high or your account won't work.

It could be due to account trust issues or a soft flag from Facebook's system. Even if everything looks fine (card, page, ad), Facebook might limit spending due to sudden activity, ad content, or low engagement. Try:

Duplicating the ad set or campaignTesting with a different creative or audienceLetting the account rest for 24–48hChecking for any backend policy violations

It could be because of your bm and you suddenly increased your budget, that is likely the reason why your account was stopped from spending

That usually happens when Facebook’s system flags something on the ad or account level like low trust score, ad quality, or unusual activity. Try duplicating the campaign or creating a fresh ad set. Also, consider warming up the account with small consistent spend. If it keeps happening, check if the BM or ad account has any hidden limitations or feedback issues

That usually happens when Facebook flags the account for unusual activity. Even if the card and page are fine, the algorithm may pause spending to review it. Sometimes letting it sit, reducing daily budgets, or creating a new campaign helps.

Your account may be limited, have a payment error, or need verification, check the notification in Ads Manager and update your payment method.

I think if you create more campaigns or increase spending like that, you will no longer have the same error or because your BM is having problems.

common bro, trust cap kicks in. usually clears after 1–2 days if setup clean

Don't think that increasing your campaigns or spend will fix the error; the cause could be an account limit, a BM issue, or Facebook policy.

Sometimes the system holds back spending to monitor account trust. A good approach is to scale your budget gradually, keep a consistent payment history, and allow the account to warm up over several days.

I think it might be because of your ad content. the content can't be delivered so it stops. You can create a new advertising campaign in parallel with the old campaign.

It sounds like BM is limited, I had this happen to me but I don't know if your case's the same or if it's due to another reason
So, you can check other accounts in that BM to see if they are similar. If yes, then it is because BM is limited. If no, then the problem is only with your account and campaign.

fb was a bit messed up at that time, today it works fine, you should create a new campaign today

Ad fatigue or low CTR can cause the algorithm to halt spend automatically

maybe because facebook updated during that time, i don't remember the exact time if it coincides with yours, but sometimes my account also has the same problem. then it works normally again.

i think you should recheck and change audience, maybe multiple ad sets targeting similar audiences cause self-competition, raising cpm and limit some sets, and usually refresh your content campaigns

The reason may be that the meta doesn't know what price to distribute at, so it may pause spending for a few days. Try changing your fan page.
