I'm being a little superstitious lately...

I understand that all YouTube accounts get a positive reputation after posting consistently and then are able to dominate certain keywords/areas etc.

I've pushed a lot of videos of mine in the past (lately actually) with little to no success, some views dropping, likes dropping etc. Do you think these videos that I failed to rank successfully are having a negative impact on my other videos that I post?

Even when trying recently and today for extremely low competition keywords, the views are barely able to push it... which is alarming and surprising.

Was thinking that perhaps the failed videos are having a negative effect on any new ones I push, and was considering deleting the old videos.

I think YouTube 2019 is less focused on channel reputation and more on the individual video metrics (watch time per impression). It sounds to me like you're using low quality likes and views as the ones I buy never drop. Even high quality fake views and likes do not seem to have a huge effect on ranking videos as they are likely not hitting the impression metric that YouTube uses to make your video rank better.

I do believe, however, that YouTube channels can fall victim to the Google curse and starting a new channel with the same content can have different results. I was careful and only used high quality views/likes/shares on my channel in the past. If I were to upload some truly unique and evergreen content today, it would surely go viral without any issues.
