I'm back in the Pinterest game and want to create 50-100 accounts, but I am not sure about how many accounts could I use per proxy.

Last time I used 1 account on 1 private proxy. Is it still the same?

Another thing I am worried about, is the group boards. I am planning to create the accounts, wait 20-30 days until I accept new group board invitation on this new accounts. What do you think about this?

    Cheers!

LE: just saw tons of spam accounts with similar names to this:

It's not only for the problem of being banned, though I asked pinterest support about multiple accounts per proxy before I had any proxies because I wanted at least 1 business account for each of my websites.. and that's is exactly what I told them when i asked; and they told me it would be fine.. no additional measures are needed to support multiple accounts from 1 IP address.

The real reason 1 account/proxy is useful is because pinterests limits are not on the account but the IP address.. I found this out because I was running a business account and a "personal" account from my regular IP address and those two accounts were always running into limits while the others weren't. So your followers/hour or day are not set by account but by IP address.

Say the limit is 500 people an hour and you're running 5 accounts on 1 address.. you can only follow 100 people on each account if you are using a single IP address. If you have 5 IP addresses and 5 accounts you can follow 2500 in the same time period.

Detailed and helpful reply. Thank you uffda.

Now, I don't want to bug you guys with this, but in 2013-2014 I got my domains banned, so I didn't get traffic from Pinterest, and I had to sell my websites, even though they made decent money. What could prevent domain banning? is there a way around it?

I was thinking about this: if your domain/website gets banned from all of Pinterest, you could just buy a new domain and redirect it to your old/money making sites/domain. Is this a good solution? Even though, most of the time, I got my domain banned and my accounts banned.

It really depends, how much of your traffic is/was coming from pinterest? If 100% of your traffic is coming from Pinterest I'd just copy all the content to a new domain directly rather than worry about redirecting which might result in people reporting your pins. If you have other traffic mixed in than it may be easier just to redirect, especially if you can get a domain very similar to the old one which people may not notice the redirect like mywebsite.com vs website.com or something. It would definitely work, at least for a while.. the real problem is finding out what got the domain banned in the first place and avoiding it

Try to only put your link in relevant pictures, and your own pictures. Atleast don't put your link in more than 10 - 25% of the pictures you are pinning as this can result in a ban.

I only put my link in about 5% of irrelevant pins, and then i have my link in my own pictures and relevant pictures.

And also i often wait to see which pins to put the link into, if i see a pin getting serveral repins and reach the "Hand Picked For You" i put the link in immediatley.

I used to pin 10-20 of my own pins with link to my money site, maybe that's the issue of the banning (domain/user).

Another idea I have, is 99.9% my competition is reporting my pins as spam. I had a few accounts banned after I exchanged boards with one person from a Pinterest Skype group.
