Account locked because created when i was under 13

Had an aged X account in which I manged to get a few thousands followers. Decided I wanted to try to monetize it by rebranding and so on.. and had the bad idea of updating the fictional age with my actual one.

This led to my account being completely locked as I wasn't 13 when created more than 10 years ago lol.

Did anybody had this happening to them? How should I procede? I've read discordant opinion on reddit so not sure what to do

The only option is to write to technical support. only they will be able to help with that =//
 
Did you make the change before or after monetising ?
 
It's gone. You broke their rules, ultimately endorsed by governments for the protection of kids. There won't be some special rule that applies to you, just cause it would be nice if there was. Either try again on X from scratch or go elsewhere for another method.
 
Is it no longer possible to send them your ID and get it unlocked that way? That worked for me in 2017/18.
 
If you're not under 13 anymore, you'll want to get in touch with Meta's support team to get your account unlocked.
