Accidentally Sent token to the Wrong Address – Help Needed!

My friend sent ETH from Binance to another , but he accidentally chose the wrong network. This caused the funds to go to an address that doesn’t belong to him. Is there any way to get it back? We checked the address, and it’s unused except for the amount he sent.

What networks? You were sending from and to.
Anyway if there’s a same address, it belongs to the Binance no matter what chain is, so you can contact them and file a request

to Ethereum Classic: ETC Token Bep20

Oh. I thought you sent it from Binance to Binance. If you sent it to external wallet, there’s the same thing that the same address belongs to a few networks Check in your wallet the same network you sent ETH from Binance

Try contacting Binance support with detailed transaction info.

They can help if the address belongs to their network.

If the wallet is custodial, the funds are likely lost forever.

You can contact the exchange but there is very less chance for fund to be returned.
