Access to CodeCanyon Plugins—Should I use them?

So I have access to a bunch of CC plugins...they are not currently licensed to anyone, so I have two questions:

1. Is it safe to use them currently?

2. Is it safe to use them once they are registered to the owner?

I know that I won't get updates, and I am going to buy them all eventually, so this would be "try till buy."

Hy there. I often use plugins that i didnt acquired "legally", but i usually do it on localhost or on development area.

Sometimes i continue using them even on production websites (if i know that the files are clean). I usually use them untill critical updates are released. If my budget permits me i acquire them.
