I just have to say that in many of the places that I am placing links I am finding others dropping them for the term "Acai Berry" which is ridiculous!

Do some keyword research on that stuff and get a clue...if you are trying to rank for that term now you need to realize that that particular train has already left the station.

The people that are in the top 10 are pretty much there to stay, and blazillions of low-value links spam links with that term as their anchor ain't gonna change that anytime soon (unless you are running an advanced, 5-or-6 layer blog farm).

Do you think those people in the Top 10 are just sitting around NOT doing any linkbuilding? Do you think that they just "fell into" a good position for that keyword?

I'm not saying that Acai Berry CPA offers are not worth promoting, all I'm saying is that spending time/money/resources trying to rank for at particular term is a waste.

Be more creative, pick a different keyword that relates to weight loss, and stop spamming up with web with your "Acai Berry" anchor text!

I see a SEO Noob in this thread....Acai is really not even THAT competitive. Now....people search, refinance, home loan...THOSE are competitive niches.
 
Obviously it's very competitive. I'm not sure how the ezine article ranked so well.
 
and the point for such thread it's to stop peoples their dreams ? or to tell them witch terms have high competition on the big G' ?
Actually ... each one and everyone it's free to do what they wanna with their money . More .... each one and everyone it's free to lose their time like they wish
 
I also was wondering how the Ezine Article ended up ranking so well...but I didn't spend any more time looking any deeper into it.

That one gave me a chuckle. I'm deffinately NOT competing in the Acai Berry niche...or any weight loss niche now that I think about it.
 
I delete all articles submitted for acabi berry keyword from my site..

That article is as recent as feb 2009, maybe a xrumer blast to get those 2500 links?

focus on your efforts, not on others.

I GUARANTEE a #3/better ranking for an Acai Berry term in a little while that gets searched 700+ times a day on exact mode.
