I wanted to test this out as a way to generate quick cash.

I submitted 30 articles without any spinning - ALL my own work. I got it down to an average of 10 minutes an article with an average of 400 words. Subjects were investing, how to guides of tech, real estate, sports, etc. Stuff that I know.

Out of 30 I was only approved for 4 of them with a whopping $2.06 per article. The others were rejected because they either did not give enough insight or were too broad. I believe each article gave techniques, tips, and other information that is valuable.

I obviously ended this testing process because it all hinges on being approved and if not, it's a waste of time.

I've heard similar stories, but I have also heard of some really good earnings. So if you have used AC recently, please share your experience.

Thats a shame really, however there are many other ways to earn a nice income with articles, its usually not a quick buck though and requires patience. But if you can pump out a good article in 10 minutes then thats good going :)

don't go spending that all in one place

ac's a waste of time. you'd make more money standing on the street holding a 'homeless' sign

But with the "homeless" sign, he didn't get any buck for his article !!! lol ;)

Back to topic:
In my opinion the time with/for AC is over...there are so many ways for articles...forget AC

That site is in heat of rigor mortis -- simply dying out. It's getting hysterical now so get out of it fast. A sinking ship is never good, even for the rats... and they have them in plenty --- just go to their forum and notice how much noise it is making. They are shooting themselves in their feet now. :D

They are not worth your efforts...

I had to try it. I was hearing some stories of people earning over $5 an article. I have actually been published in magazines before and thought I could basically print money with AC. WRONG!

Well, you could as of about two years ago, when we noticed how easy it was to submit mediocre articles to AC for upfront payment, and how dumb as a rock it was to BHers gaming it. After the zillions of submissions it has received, it now probably has most of the content it needs. Now AC has become hyper strict and/or ultra greedy, and had to smarten up to frustrate us. Some here never understood AC was supposed to be PART of a plan to create a real money stream, not the main course.

The point, then and now, was never to use the site as a prime source of earnings, but to let it get you enough cash in hand to provide you working capital, defacto reimbursing you while you built your IM business. AC gave people upfront money quick, which encouraged people in knowing, "yes, I am making money on the web!" The bulk of these people would have otherwise quit even faster, because they hadn't made a dime in two weeks from IM otherwise.

I suggest the OP select rare article topics, write well-written and keyworded articles for AC, and try to build up to a 20-30% upfront payment approval rate. $20 a day is not $100 a day, sure, but it's still a decent cash system. The rejected articles can be submitted to other paid sites, or bundled and sold as PLR.

If all you can do is write then AC is ok... if you have actual IM skill then use your articles for your own projects and they'll be worth 100x more.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm done with AC, however, whenever they have a publishing bonus, you might want to submit some articles. $10 bonus for 10 articles, plus the money you already got paid for. They have one right now until the end of March. So I'll keep my eye out on that, but yes the time is better spent working on finding new markets, tweaking campaigns, and everything else.

wow man that sucks balls you can bank more money from people looking to hire outsourcing..ac has really been spammed to death this past year so people where basically asking for lower rates

Im on the same boat. AC has been giving away ridiculous prices nowadays and that's a total shit

Got my account killed with them after 7 days, I was pumping 20 uniques a week, and they claimed i stole the content, took everything I submitted for their own and didn't pay me except for the first few i submitted.

I know some have had really good luck with them, but my opinion is stay away.

They actually took your content without paying you? They haven't done that to me. They just either give an offer or decline and ask to resubmit.

i ever submited a crap article fro $3 and i don't even knew what the hell that article talkin' about LoL

I think if you can find a good niche then there's still money to be made. Although good niches get slimmer by the day. But like I mentioned in another thread I made just under $4.50 with my first article, and it was fairly badly written.

this has happened to me too. once in a while i submitted a very vague article but it managed to get me $3+

Im submiting 550 word articles and getting 2.13 cents. This is my own content that is 100% unique. Nobody is going to write 400-500 word articles for 1$ these days i dont think it can be done.

Im not going to write/spin for 8 hours to make 20-30$ busting my ass, i rather freelance doing odd jobs then BS with that garbage.

right..you can earn at least 0.6 cent per 100 words or even more based on experiences..pay per experiences which i am looking for right now..lol..;)
