Absorbing a website into another website

Sounds about right. Make sure to redirect individual pages to their new homes via 301 redirect.

It's ranking and getting some traffic but for the most part the site was a dud. This was due in part to my outsourcing of content to some really shoddy writers and not bothering to optimize it. So the rankings really dont matter, i just want to reuse the content and fix it up.
