I have like 10 sites that I have massive amounts of backlinks to, with proper onsite SEO for keywords targetted, usually EMD, 20ish social network properties, with massive amounts of backlinks(indexed) toward them, and yet i still can't rank for shit. Even low competition keywords I get nigh no traffic from, I just don't get it. Although I haven't waited that long, (as long as a month for the site specifically in question, that has as many as 100k links pointed toward it in link juice, counting subsidary links also, and the #1 is a squidoo.)
What the hell am I doing wrong?

I can empathize with you. Even though I don't have what 100k links, my few hundred links don't show except for the EZA and article directories. I think Google had come up with a new policy which strongly discounts many forum backlinks where you simply insert your username and signature backlinks - the favorite tools of backlink spammers. I can tell you that practically none of those created for me by backlink specialists are showing up. Low value 'mass backlinks' don't show up or only do so after a 6 months sandbox. That's my personal observation - if anyone else can shed light on this I'd be happy to know!

Thing is, the backlinks DO show up with market samurai's evaluator. I haven't tried looking with anything else.
Absolute craziness. So disheartening to do so much planning and work and not see results on one site.

yahoo shows my links and gives good position. bing shows EVERY link and gives me no position. google shows some of my links and gives me page 3 - on like 20 sites. last week i hired a white hat guy for 20 link pyramids on 20 sites and i hired a black hat guy for an INSANE multi-tier link wheel on 3 sites.

its too early to say of course but so far none of my white hats are indexed, my blackhats are doing an insane google dance changing serps up to 300 positions per day.

yeah, im trying to figure out the deal too. if i learn something ill share t.

Got enough good keyword anchor text? Enough ********s? Enough domains?

80 links isn't actually very much... I would aim for at least several hundred links to the domain in Y! site explorer, preferably several thousand for a competitive niche... Two weeks is definitely not long enough to see real results. Remember the shittier the backlink, the longer that backlink will take to get indexed and thus it takes even longer for it to have an effect on your rankings.

Also poor quality content can be the death knell for a site (eg. total gibberish has seen many of my sites cast in to the supplemental cache). Check your readability / reading level scores with some of the online tools out there.

actually i know of a site thats ranking for a 2k+ exact kw. Hes #1 on google and only has around 80 forum profiles according to yahoo. 0 links in google! and hes #1. so my opinion is that even though they dont show them they still consider them. Another thing i noticed that might support this is that if you check out your own sites backlinks though google webmaster they show you way more links. most of the ones that are in yahoo if not all.

Sure i don´t get easy in the Top 10, but i´m not in the top 1k with keyword domain. The last pages were ranked after 1 week anywhere in the top1k without any backlink official indexed. Also i´m on yahoo on ~#30.

I have done a lot of profile link building in the past. I checked one of my sites on google webmasters recently and the ONLY profile links who were showing up were malformed, but unique profiles.

Check out your KW rankings with cuterank.net - best tool I've seen. Free too! Except if you have like a doz URLs you wanna be checking daily then you've got no choice but to pay that $59 to save each URL search profile.

LOL 100k links and you wonder why it's not showing.Seriously common sense wins all the time.If you've fired 100k links at a low comp niche it wouldn't suprise me if your site never gets seen.Autoamted tools are suicidal in the wrong hands.
You want to rank then build some high quality manual links, yes believe it or not you usually have to work first before you simply click a button and see some magic.I'll manually add ,say,100,HIGH quality, relevant links,I wait 2-3 months doing a little link building every week. Then around 6 months I'll let the automated software do it's stuff.Guess what I've never had a site sandbox or dance, they only go to the first page.Is that because I use commonsense,is that because I assume google isn't thick enough to believe 30k + spammy links are a good thing,I guess it is.

One day,and it will be soon, google will let the hammer fall and then there will be some major chances.Automated software is a blessing in the right hands and with the right pre site hit work it works wonders.Done a random basis with nothing backing it up tends to produce poor results then people moan why a site in a low comp niche with 100k links at it isn't ranking worth a .... .
Anyway put some work in and you'll see some rewards.Press a button and expect 100k spammy links to help you make it and you'd better wake up quick.

100k links seems like a lot, are they all from seperate domains?

I rank for things all the time and don't have to build anything like that amount of links, more like a few hundred.

Did you use scrapebox for all of your backlinks? It is my personal opinion that blog commenting does not work anymore.

2 week only and already 100k backlinks too much on my opinion. You have to wait and make manually a few backlink. You say that your domain is a main keyword so you just must wait about month to see where you domain will bring you in SERP and than make your move.

There is no way google can penalize you for a bad backlink. If they did think how easy it would me to knock out your competition.

OP. whats the TLD of your site? I had a .info site with about 100 backlinks that I stil havnt got ranked in like 2 months for a very easy keyword. Bought the same .com domain and ranked in a few days with just onsite SEO, no backlinks.

    Do this...
    1) Get your hands on Market Samurai
    2) Do keyword research and find keywords with low competition, but a good amount of searches
    3) Go into the SEO comp module and see what is ranking for your keyword(s). Are they authority sites? Do you see any web 2.0 or article sites? How many backlinks do they have? Average PR and age?
    4) Go buy a domain... .com .net or .org - keyword in your domain
    5) Install wordpress
    6) Customize wordpress with tools like all in one seo. Also make sure that you are using your keyword on your site.
    7) Write some content. 1000 words minimum. Use your keyword throughout.
    8) Look at your site once all your content is published. Are you using your primary keyword in your TITLE, h1, h2, h3, description, img alt, etc...?
    9) Go create backlinks and don't stop...
    -profile links
    -social bookmarks
    -videos on YT
    -web 2.0 sites like squidoo
    -articles like EZA

And from this point on, you are going to primarily be creating
backlinks to your website. Publish content on your website
every now and then to keep it fresh, but I truthfully don't even
have to do that on some sites.

Follow these steps and you will rank.

Google can't penaltize the site, but I bet google does simply stop the link juice from spammy looking link building, which serves the same purpose, the site does not rank despite 100k backlinks. Thats even better then a direct penalty...
