About to remove images from site

Every post on my site has 1 image and I am contemplating on removing it. I don't receive much traffic from them anyways. I'm planning to replace them with an ad unit. Will this affect traffic much?

I say keep the image, and find another place for your ads.

Image traffic is a side benefit of placing images in your posts, not the main reason why people use images. Therefore, you shouldn't be considering removing your images just because you don't get much traffic coming from image searches.

Images make your posts look attractive and comprehensible and putting images in your posts is one of the aspects of on-page optimization you can't ignore.

Leave the images where they are. Even without seeing your website, I'm sure there is more than enough space for ads on there.

Let it be there! Don't remove it, when the website is full of content and ads then it wont sounds good to the viewers. The images added in the makes your site to look active out from being drained with contents.

Images also help to get traffic, because they might be in google image searches
