I've been at this IM thing for about two weeks and have had ZERO success. I've been working with CPA offers promoting them with facebook, youtube, and CL. At this point I haven't had ONE lead yet. So I have a few questions for you guys:


How long did it take you to start making money? When something doesn't work, what's your solution?

I'm at about my end here, I know money doesn't come over night but with all of my methods/time/money/effort I put in I expected at least ONE lead. Does anyone have any suggestions for a last ditch effort? Thanks

Hey bud,

First - two weeks is very short time for anything ..
Prepare for 2 months .. or 6 months or maybe a year ..
Just Do NOT give up .. Keep reading and learning methods ..
Do NOT spend money on things you don't know yet

It's simple as that - You want something to achieve - prepare with patience and start follow your path.

Gotta say, success comes on the first day for some like me made $120 the first day. But for most it takes months to years. If you are already giving up you are not worthy of internet marketing.

Just ask someone you know who runs a brick and mortar business. How much profit he makes from his sales agents first month since hired (even 2nd, 3rd...)

Selling is such difficult job, both offline as online. You must knock a lot of doors before seeing some result. Good news is you can become as good as any other guy around if you train yourself to.
 
I'm starting my own retail website, it's been online since about mid-September.

Made a total of $1,431.34 in sales. :D
Spent a total of $2,520.84 in advertising.

You were crying about something? Sorry.. How much money did you lose so far again?

Oh yeah. You lost time.... I bet I lost WAY more of that, too (8-12 hrs/day since beginning). I've not even begun, yet. I'm about to drop another $500/day into advertising starting today/tomorrow. I'll talk to you in a year when I'm about to start making progress.
 
go ahead and give up, in the meantime i'm off to buy a new computer only for scrapebox and tweet attacks so i can make even crazier money than now :D

Giving up is easy, staying the course and pushing through when all the odds are stacked against you is what separates the winners from the losers. I for one know that not matter what Imma do whatever it takes to succeed at this thing.

Hopefully this is more of a break for you then an actual quit, you get out what you put in. With enough time, effort, and dedication you can surely succeed!
 
I have been at this for about 5 months with some alright income in the process but nothing groundbreaking. The first two weeks I had nothing done. Thing is, I know that if I keep at it I can make it happen. If you don't believe in yourself....
 
I saw where someone quoted the OP because you deleted it, but it takes much longer than 2 weeks to see a return. For the people who have laser focus, it takes them a minimum of 3 to 6 months to reach success. For those without laser focus, it takes sometimes years. Buckle down and read up on the wonderful information here and get into action and in a few months things will turn around.
 
2 weeks! lmao! I'm a newbie bro and I tried countless times at ONE method and each time I would learn something new to improve conversions and earnings. Each time get's better. First started off with o% conversion, and it grew to the double digits. You gotta keep trying. Don't stop digging, your next dig can be the pot of gold!
 
It may just not be for him. I see it like kids in sports. There are some kids who try it and love it, even if they aren't successful at first and they keep going. But then there are kids who aren't successful and are miserable with it. There's no point in making your kid keep playing soccer year after year if they aren't into it.
 
man you are giving up after 2 weeks? try failing for 3 full years bro. if you give up after 2 weeks then internet marketing just isn't for you. IM is the hard way out, the easy way out is getting a job like everyone else. i guess you should take the easy way out then

Sorry you *totally* fell for all the "push-1-button-and-make-a-million-bucks" bs out there (you're not reading WSOs, are ya?)

This is a business not a slot machine.

You can get loads of amazingly good info on forums like this, but you have to read, sift, digest, plan, act, fail, adjust, study, ask, try again, etc.

That takes time.

And if you're determined to fail at CPA, do it on CL for free, not FB for $$$. There's plenty of Craigs+CPA ideas floating around that you can test on.

You have all the methods on this forum. If you failed to one of them its NORMAL and NATURAL! You need to work out and test TEST TEST and...

I understand your situation OP, but it is just too early to quit. Maybe just do it if it's not for you.

But, let me tell you a few mistakes you've made.

1) Paying for FB. Don't you know you could find free fb vouchers? If you know where to find. (Research is very important)

Secondly, I wouldn't be surprised even if you get any clicks with no leads.


Because CPA isn't as easy as you think, especially with FB ads.

You've only tried one, and ONLY ONE variation, i.e., CPA+facebook.

Go with CPA + Youtube. I have a complete tutorial on this.

CPA + SEO, Clickbank + Facebook (proper targeting is crucial) ; CB + YT (Tons of videos are necessary)

Fivver, WF, so on and so forth.

I like the fact that you took action. But you shouldn't always expect good in the first sight.

You should start reading the forums at least from now.

The truth is running your own business isn't for you at this stage in your life. You've created this thread because deep down you do want to succeed, but you lack your own motivation.

You might find some people here passing on some of their positive energy to you and it gets you motivated, but what happens after another 2 weeks?

Edison failed 10000+ times before he was successful. On his 9999th try he was a complete and utter failure. In reality though he was always a success because from the moment he started he knew he would succeed no matter what.

Unless you can foster that mindset you're not going to manage to run a business.

This isn't meant to be insulting but rather an observation about your current way of thinking and why it's not going to work. You could very well read this and something inside you will click and suddenly you'll have what it takes.

Or more than likely you'll move on. :-) Even if you don't have what it takes now, maybe in a few years you'll come back as a different person who does have what it takes.

Good luck whatever you do anyway.
 
Just make a website that pisses people off like you did in this thread and you'll be sure to make a ton.
