True, but I buy pages by contacting the owners directly since little offers are suited for my country on BHW. And the page's subject doesn't really matter either
That's the issue, I use PP with my bank account and not a CC. So filing a dispute didn't result in any refund.
Ask a LOAD of question's about the fanpage to see if he is genuine, Also ask for the insights of the page to see if he is actually the owner.
If you're confident and want to buy the page. You can send the money using a middle man or pay 50% upfront first he send's the details and the pay the remaining amount, that way trust is shown both ways.

That is what I did once before, but he still managed to get the page back. When changing the owner of a page, is there something like when you change your email, you get an email on the 'old' address to confirm the change?
Nah, I know myself well enough that it wouldn't be wise to do so. I manage to get money around quite well so there is no need for it, plus I've paid and am paying my banks enough interest already lol.
