Copyright strikes are often confused with Content ID matches, which can result in a video being blocked. They are not the same.

Yes, sometimes it can get confusing.

I am working with videos right now that are getting Content ID matching on the audio (music) side, but I just acknowledge the claim and keep going. There are no Strikes being applied.

I wondering how it works for video matches though. When a popular TV clip is uploaded, and get matched, does it turn into a Strike immediately?
