I have a big problem with my scrapebox proxy internal harvester, my settings for proxy harvester are :

timeout settings 45
proxys procesed 15
i got 10mb/s connection

number of good proxys out of 4533 are 61 wtf?

Now i have a little theory of mine and i am not a proxy expert, but i know that if you use proxys to much they get blocked, its all started for me to go wrong when the proxy list for harvester got to public in a proxy list section, i dont know why is that allowed, and i think its got fucked up cause now everyone have access to them not only the PAYING scrapebox users, i hope you catch my drift.

Now should i start to buy proxys cause some bored user need some thanks buitton clicks here and he dont have anything useful to post he start to post HIS scrapebox proxys, woow you are awesome i know i will certanly not click the thanks cause you are fucking up my bussines, now maybe i will be banned for this comment but i dont give a fuck i had to speak my mind.

Please correct me if i am wrong, and please remember im not trying to hate anyone, but i dont think its ok that i camnt use scrapebox anymore even for scraping cause some people need thanks clicks, thanks and be cool.

Your settings are good. I have a similar internet connection and my settings are timeout - 45 and proxys - 25. Those lists are just for the newbie users of scrapebox, don't be mad for someone sharing them. After all I get like 200 good proxies out of 4500(latency under 2000). Buy a membership for private proxies. There's a lot owners of such a website and the price is like $15-$20! Something very important is that 99% of the free proxies are banned by akismet and are worthless...

Ok thanks for a such quick answer, but if i use scrapebox lets say to blast a 1m links daily, are they gonna die or is that a monthly subscription or how is this work, can you please explain to me, i need proxys for my business and i cant work with 50 proxys which are to f...d up.
 
the beauty of buying private proxies is that with most services, you will get a fresh set to each month, so say if you buy 10 private proxies, the next month you will get those replaced - if they are blocked in most cases
 
ok heres the problem with public proxies - read?
because this topic has been cover XXXXX times
over the last year.

when u bought scrapebox they [gave] you 7 internal links
to grab a few free proxies to get u up and running call it a freebie
but they were never intended as a long term solution.
why dont they work ..let me explain...again.....

private proxies should always be used for posting..always....
public proxies to scrape urls with...

the public proxies u are harvesting from thoes 7 urls in scrapebox
are also being harvested by thousands of other people as well.
put simple - the more people that share a source of public proxies
the worse it becomes - now imagine 10-20k people all leeching thoes
same 7 links all testing thoes same few proxies..... u get me ...?

public proxies only work as a usuable source if the base of people using them
is few... when thousands jump on them , they get murdered , useless ..
the answer - find a lesser used source of public proxies to scrape with
that thousands of people arnt sharing..

can u scrape and post with private proxies... yes but.. it will burn them out
far faster -- hence [ private to post ] -- [ public to scrape]

the end..

ps .. not all private proxie suppliers are gonna replace your proxies
if u get them blocked b4 the month is up - because your the one
getting them blocked and replacing them b4 the end of the month
is costing the suplier, so be sure to get enough proxies to last

Ok thanks for this, i have understand that, i tought the same way, now then why the hell are this proxies allowed on this board to be more public then before when they are working for the both thing, my opinion is if you have scrapebox use it with the features as they are dont fuck other paying users for some stupid ass thanks competition, i was ok with public proxies untill they got to public, i blasted a autoapprove list i made with 20k list and i got with link checker over 13k posted, this was good enough for me, if there was a poll about the proxy publishing the scrapebox ones i mean i would vote no for sure, but i dont think it could happen here, i know that im a noob and i know this proxy lists make my life more fu..d up, thanks everyone for help.
 
The next question should be, where are the best private proxies?
 
My 2 cents experience - Use public proxies for scraping and reserve the private ones for posting!
 
If you poke around the tool itself there is a link to buy proxies. The only thing that I have not been able to find out is if they can be rented month to month. Also I am wondering if 10 would be enough for the average user that is doing his backlinks only for like 10-20 sites , not blasting everyday?
 
Ok if i buy 10-20 proxies they will die the first day in the way i am using them, should i pay 20 bucks every day for something that i had already untill some smart asses posted "they" scrapebox lists, now i have found some proxy service on the net, which is free for me cause i have found some cracked program and i harvest the list from that program, but i dont want to do this the hard way im loosing to much time and money over this.... i dont know what a f..k to do anymore, this program is the only thing that has left for me.....:(

i pre test public proxies for users but
there only shared on my forum for subscribers
