About Payoneer debit card

Hi fellas,

According to some forums, Odesk debit cards can't be loaded with money in the first time until someone who has the same Payoneer debit card pays you or load it for you. does that apply to all payoneer partners (e.g. 2checkout, Elance,etc.) or does it apply only to Odesk ?

It applies to all Payoneer partners.

Hi guys,

Sorry I missed this before, but this isn't actually true. To be precise, you can't have a private load (from a Visa or MasterCard) before you receive a payment from one of our partners or the US Payment Service. It doesn't matter which one you receive it from - it doesn't have to be the company you were issued the card from.

This applies to all cards, not just oDesk.

This is not true. Loading is possible once the card is activated. Don't know where you got this information.

You have to activate your card first, then you have to have a first load from a partner you ordered your card from.
So, if you ordered from ODesk:

1. Card activation fee
2. First load from ODesk, before loading from anywhere else
