How many words do you usually make your about page?
Try for at least 200 to get some credibility.
Google likes to see at least 450 words on a page page for indexing/ranking. If you want to come across as legitimate in the eyes of your customers, don't worry about word count. Provide useful info about your business (the purpose here is to create trust). Search google for what makes a good about page and you will find tons of examples.
Ok, great ideas guys. They are micro niche sites & I am trying to get credibility with G, more so than customers. But I will look up what makes good about pages.
It is little hard to say but it must be 350 to 400 to get credibility for G.
Word count per page is not that much important than the quality of the contents of te page.If the quality is Good then the word count will not matter how long it can be.We cant increase the word count by adding more key words. The content should be readable.
